I amplify this damage further by placing smaller campfires near the enemies. This does damage on contact as well as tick damage. I place multiple bonfires around my base and push approaching enemies into the fire. However, the bonfire is more than just shelter for the advanced player. You can place multiple cooking stations around it, keep yourself warm at night and even sleep in its vicinity. At first glance, it’s just a much better campfire. A Bonfire is a roaring flame, a beacon to Vikings, and a light in the darkness that can be used for cooking, sleeping, and warmth.
